Founder’s Message – Sri Dilip Ghosh

The seeds of Sristy for Human Society were sown by Sri Dilip Ghosh in 1995, who formally established the organization in 1997 and secured registration by 2000. A graduate of the State University and a Diploma holder in Social Work (DSW) from Jadavpur University, Sri Ghosh turned his personal hardships into a lifelong mission to serve the marginalized.

From 2005 onwards, he dedicated himself entirely to Sristy’s growth, building it from a small initiative into a recognized development organization. Over the past three decades, his focus has remained unwavering: eradicating poverty, empowering children, and uplifting women and girls.

Sri Ghosh’s vision and leadership have earned him numerous honors, including the Youth Leader Award and the B. R. Ambedkar Ratna Award for his outstanding contributions to the social sector.
