💳 Return & Refund Policy
At Sristy for Human Society, we are committed to transparency and accountability in the use of all donations received. Your contributions directly support our ongoing programs in child development, education, health, and women’s empowerment.
1. General Policy
- All donations are considered final and non-refundable.
- Once a donation is processed, it cannot be canceled, withdrawn, or refunded under any circumstances, as funds are immediately committed to project implementation and compliance requirements under Indian law (including FCRA, 12AA, and 80G regulations).
2. Limited Exceptions
Refunds will only be considered in the following rare technical cases:
- Duplicate donation due to system error.
- Wrong amount debited because of a technical malfunction during the payment process.
No refund requests will be entertained for reasons such as change of mind, voluntary cancellation, or dissatisfaction with how donations are utilized.
3. Refund Request Process
- Any request under the above exceptions must be submitted in writing to info@sristy.org within 5 working days of the transaction.
- Requests received after this period will not be eligible for review.
- If approved, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 30 working days, subject to verification and bank/payment gateway timelines.
4. Tax Exemption Receipts
- Donations accompanied by an issued 80G tax exemption receipt are strictly non-refundable under Indian tax law.
- In the rare event of a technical refund, the donor must return/destroy the original receipt, and no tax benefits can be claimed on that donation.
5. Program Fees (if applicable)
- For paid workshops or training programs, cancellation or transfer of fees will be considered only if requested in writing at least 7 days before the scheduled event.
6. Final Authority
- The decision of the Governing Board of Sristy for Human Society will be final and binding in all matters of refund eligibility.
